Where does the shoot take place?

All headshot special sessions are held at our studio: 25 W. Jefferson Ave, Unit 2, Naperville, IL.

• Front entrance: Between Francesca's and Adagio Tea on Jefferson Ave

• Back entrance: Accessible via the parking lot off Van Buren St (look for the Studio 25 banner on the 2nd floor balcony)

What’s included in my session?

• A 30-minute photo shoot with time for 3 outfit changes (perfect for capturing up to 4 different looks)

• Access to our studio wardrobe guide

• Light hair and makeup touch-ups by our on-site artist (please arrive with your usual hair/makeup done)

• A viewing session immediately after to select your top 2 images

• Delivery of retouched photos within 2–3 business days

Add-On Options:

• Additional retouched image: $250

• Special offer: Buy 3, get 1 free – 4 retouched images for the price of 3 (must select additional images during viewing session)

How do I prepare for hair and makeup?

Come with your hair styled and your makeup done as you’d normally wear it. Our team will provide light touch-ups to get you photo ready.

Is this your first time getting acting headshots?

If you’re new to acting headshots, here’s what to know:

• Talk to your agent (if you have one) to align on the looks you need.

• Commercial headshots: Friendly, bright, and smiley.

• Film/TV headshots: More serious, dramatic expressions, often no smile and strong eye contact.

• Keep the style clean and simple—casting directors want to see you.

• Close-up shots are best. Avoid full-body photos—your face is your star feature.

What should I wear?

When you book, you'll receive our styling and outfit guide to help you prep. In the meantime:

• Wear your first outfit to the session

• Bring 2 additional looks

• Be sure your clothing is steamed and camera-ready

What background options do you offer?

We offer a variety of background options in-studio:

• Painted white brick

• Classic standard brick

• Black backdrop

We’ll help you select the best option based on your outfit and goals when you arrive.

Final tips to be ready:

• Arrive 5-10 minutes early (late arrivals may forfeit their session; no reschedules/refunds)

• Bring 2 additional outfits beyond what you're wearing

• A fresh manicure and fresh hair color (if applicable) is recommended

• Get plenty of rest and drink water the day before your session

Cancellation Policy

Headshot Mini Session slots are non-refundable. If, for any reason, you're unable to attend your selected time slot, the amount can be used as a credit toward a future full or headshot session.

If you arrive late, we’ll do our best to accommodate you, but whether or not we’re able to photograph you will depend on availability.

Each headshot session includes up to three looks per person. If time allows, we’re happy to add a fourth look.

Appointments cannot be shared between multiple people. If you need back-to-back appointments for team members, just let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
